Have you ever given money to a cause, or bought a t-shirt promising "10% of all t-shirt sales goes to..."? Have you ever given money to a political campaign promising "Your money goes for..."? Did the cause or t-shirt seller ever follow-up, show you where your money went? Were you able to easily track what the campaign spent your money on?

All our income and expenses, rounded to the nearest dollar, are posted here in real-time.

With some caveats. If a vendor doesn't want their name published we'd list "Web Hosting - $300". If someone working for us doesn't want their name published we'd list "Customer Support" and the expense. We'll never post the names of paid members. Instead we'll post "Paid Members" and the income. We won't take a contribution from anyone who's not on our trip and unless they allow us to publish their name. We'll even post our tax returns, but anything sensitive (like home addresses or what not) would be redacted.

Hopefully people find our approach refreshing, more will do the same.
